Neste domingo (12) aconteceu a premiação Critics’ Choice Awards 2020, a 25ª edição celebrou vencedores do cinema e televisão. O grande vencedor da noite foi Era uma vez em… Hollywood, dirigido por Quentin Tarantino, a produção venceu quatro prêmios nas categorias Melhor Filme, Melhor Roteiro Original, Melhor Design de Produção e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante para Brad Pitt.
Joaquin Pheonix continua recebendo prêmios por sua atuação memorável em Coringa e Renée Zellweger venceu por sua interpretação em Judy, se formando dois grandes candidatos para o Oscar.
Na categoria de séries, Succession vem se consagrando uma grande vitoriosa em série de drama. Já na comédia, ninguém tira os prêmios de Fleabag, a produção venceu nas categorias Melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série de Comédia para Andrew Scott e Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia para Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Com 40 anos de carreira, o ator Eddie Murphy foi o grande homenageado do Critics’ Choice Awards 2020 com o prêmio de carreira artista e Kristen Bell levou o prêmio chamando SeeHer que premia mulheres que se destacaram no ano por suas conquistas, influência e visibilidade à outras mulheres na televisão ou cinema.
